Email Miton

Voicemail Standard Features:


  • Password protected
  • Separate away and unavailable greetings
  • Default or custom greetings
  • Multiple mail folders via Web interface
  • Web interface for checking of voicemail
  • E-mail notification of voicemail with audio file attachment (see example below)
  • Voicemail forwarding
  • Visual message waiting indicator
  • Message waiting stutter dialtone

The number of messages for each voicemailbox is limited to 99 messages. The system plays a prompt warning the user that the mailbox is full and cannot record any more messages.

Example Email notification:

Dear Mike Quelch:
Just wanted to let you know you were just left a 0:05 min:sec long message (number 1) in mailbox 2100 from 2101, on Thursday, November 11, 2007 at 09:53:09 AM so you might want to check it when you get a chance. Thanks!

Voicemail Enhanced Features:

  • Option to have the caller ID (cID) of the caller heard before the voicemail
  • Option to review, rerecord, or save voicemails after leaving them
  • Option to review, rerecord, or save busy, unavailable, and name prompts

Telephone Key Press Menu:

  • 1 Read voicemail messages
    • 4 Play previous message
    • 5 Repeat current message
    • 6 Play next message
    • 7 Delete current message
    • 8 Forward message to another mailbox
    • 9 Save message in a folder
    • * Help; during msg playback: Rewind
    • # Exit; during msg playback: Skip forward
  • 2 change folders
  • 0 Mailbox options
    • 1 Record your unavailable message
    • 2 Record your busy message
    • 3 Record your name
    • 4 change your password
    • * Return to the main menu
  • * Help
  • # Exit
  • After recording a message (incoming message, busy/unavail greeting, or name)
    • 1 - Accept
    • 2 - Review
    • 3 - Re-record

While listening to a recorded voicemail message: Press # to fastforward, or * to rewind by preset increments. Preset increments defaults to 3000 ms and is configurable.
Note that the # and * keys only work when the message is in the process of being played back
